Gallery of Name Badges & Small Signs
Name badges can be made from a variety of different materials. If you would like to use a color logo or you'd like to know pricing please contact us so we can assist you with determining which products will work best.
Here is a sample of some we've done that show different materials: aluminum, brass, plastic and UniSub. You can also see the different color options of silver, gold and white. Some name badges have holders, some do not. The fastener on the back can be pin posts, swivel pins, or magnetic fasteners.
DuraBlack Outdoor Aluminum
DuraBlack is CO2 laser markable aluminum for durable, on-demand marking for harsh operating environments. In side-by-side tests, DuraBlack outperforms black anodized aluminum and laser markable acrylic tape in select applications. DuraBlack is resistant to sunlight (UV-radiation), abrasion, high-temperatures and chemical exposure. Because of its ability to perform across a range of challenging environments, DuraBlack meets several government, industrial and military specifications including MIL-STD 130N, A-A-50271 (H”MIL-P-514D) and MIL-STD-15024F, Type L.
Composed of a multi-level coating available upon 0.0053 or 0.0203 thick aluminum, DuraBlack can be attached to either curved or flat surfaces with adhesive, rivets or screws. It is imaged with any CO2 marking laser to produce a durable, high-resolution barcode or human-readable image.
Below are some signs that we can make using Rowmark plastic. There are many color combinations and we can help you select a type that fits what it is for and where it will be displayed. We keep a current swatch binder at our store that shows the different colors and types available. There are many plastic collections that are laser engravable as well as suitable for cutting with the laser, which gives many options for small sign shapes.
Above is a swatch of LaserMax that shows the surface and engraving colors for our more commonly used plastics. It is versatile in applications (can be laser or rotary engraved), it is UV stable, and can serve some outdoor purposes. For more details on this line of plastics click on the swatch.
The Metalgraph Plus series is a plastic metallic engraving laminate engineered for corrosion resistance, UV stability and outdoor weather-ability. Its integrated hardcoat and sub-surface brush finish provide superior protection for exterior application and is moisture and fingerprint resistant. This material is suitable for laser engraving and cutting. Several of the examples shown include the optional frame.
The ColorHues series above exudes brilliant colors with the smooth clean look of glass. They are great for cutting unique sign shapes and attaching cutout letters. The standoffs used in these examples gives a nice depth to signage.
The Reverse LaserMark series above has a clear finish over a layer of rich color. It offers a crisp, clean image and ultra-fine laser lettering with a durable surface that resists fingerprints. Multiple color fills and back lighting are possible because it is laser engraved from the back rather than the front. The examples above show another style of standoffs that give a dimension to signage.
The Textures series are made for industrial uses and high traffic areas due to its tough surface that resists fingerprints, grease and grime. The Textures are laserable (for both engraving and cutting), UV stable and outdoor weatherable. All of the examples shown feature optional frames.
